Adele joins Spice Girls backstage on final night of reunion tour
Adele has joined the Spice Girls backstage on the final night of their reunion tour and the girl power queens are out in full force.
We’re living for it.
Geri Horner shared a sweet selfie with the Hello singer ahead of the final night of the Spice World tour, which is seeing Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton take on Wembley Stadium after Victoria Beckham opted out of the reunion.
‘Finally together,’ Ginger Spice wrote in the caption as she and Adele smiled away at the camera.
With Adele reportedly being in a ‘good place’ after her split from her husband Simon Konecki, we bet she’s ready to Spice up her life with some classic hits.
Fans were immediately obsessed with seeing the two singers together, with one writing: ‘Woaaaah my nine year old self and my 29 year old self cannot compute this awesomeness.’
‘Wembley is filled with legends tonight,’ another observed.
Ain’t that the truth.
Adele’s not the only famous face to be enjoying the return of the Spice Girls, with Holly Willoughby enjoying a boozy girls’ night out to one of the London shows.
It’s gotta be done, right?
Along with husband Dan Baldwin, the 38-year-old This Morning presenter flocked to Wembley Stadium with a number of famous pals including Kate Thornton, Laura Whitmore and All Saints star Nicole Appleton.
Posting a selfie to Instagram, Holly posed with with her friends with the caption: ‘You gotta get with my friends…’.
The girls wasted no time in making it a night to remember and showed off their backstage area on Instagram stories while pouring themselves glasses of prosecco.
Earlier this week, Spice Girls mega fan and Oscar-winning actor Emma Stone also hung out with Baby Spice, when she attended the first night of the girl band’s stint at the venue.
Baby Spice posted a picture of their long-awaited meeting to Instagram with the caption: ‘When Emma met Emma. #2become1’.
Frankly, it was all we ever needed in life.
Meanwhile, Geri has been making fans emotional during the girls’ final performance, apologising for leaving the band 21 years ago.
Addressing her bandmates and fans, the 46-year-old said: ‘It suddenly occurred to me this afternoon, I need to say something I should have said a long time ago: I’m sorry. I’m sorry I left. I was just being a brat. It is so good to be back with the girls that I love.’
We’re officially emotional wrecks.
