Alison Hammond was beaming from ear to ear as she was spotted with her boyfriend for the first time.

The TV presenter, who fans are calling to be a permanent host of the BAFTAs after her triumphant turn with actor Richard E Grant, was pictured leaving her gardener beau's house last week.

The couple are thought to have been dating for the last 18 months, after This Morning presenter Alison, 48, hired him to spruce up her garden in the West Midlands.

In pictures of the pair, Ben can be seen waiting for Alison while visiting his parents' house in Redditch, Worcestershire, dressed in a brown tracksuit and oversized black coat.

Alison later appears clutching a newspaper, dressed in a flowing green dress, white trainers, and a neon-pinked lined camo coat, complete with a fluffy cream hat.


A friend told The Sun: "They love to hang out and have been for meals and down to the pub. They're both down to earth and get on like a house on fire.

"She makes him laugh and Alison thinks it's cute he still lives with his parents."

And in May last year, her co-host Dermot O'Leary 'outed' her during a segment on This Morning.

He commented: "You're not available anymore, but if you were, jeez what a catch!"


Alison jokingly replied: "What do you mean I'm 'not available'? I'm available! Is there someone in my life?"

To which Dermot said: "I think so!"

She later confirmed this to The Sun, saying: "Can you believe Dermot outed me on the TV? I'm a little bit disappointed to be honest with you as I can't flirt with no one else now.

"A year and a half I've been with him, and no one knew! He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want?!"

She also told Lorraine: "All I can say is he makes my heart sing and I feel content. He enriches my life in ways I've never had before."



She also told Mail Online in October 2022 that she wouldn't say no if Ben proposed.

Alison was previously in a long-term relationship with taxi driver Noureddine Boufaied, with the two even reportedly getting married. It's not clear when they split, but together they share their son, Aidan, now 18.

She later was briefly engaged to single dad and security guard Jamie Savage in 2014, before splitting in 2017. She also had a brief fling with audio visual technician and aspiring actor Ben Kusi in 2020, after appearing on E4's Celebs Go Dating.
