Amy Hart’s boyfriend Sam rushed to hospital with massive gash in his head after accident

Amy Hart's boyfriend Sam Rason had to be rushed into hospital after he was left with a "massive gash in his head" following an accident at home.

Posting to her Instagram Story the former Love Island star told fans: "I was halfway through cooking a bank holiday tapas extravaganza for us… Stanley [the couple's son] was asleep, Sam was sorting some stuff out for the tip…

"When he came in and said he'd sliced his head open on the gate. My parents are still away so luckily my auntie sprung into action to come and sit with Stanley so we're here for next however many hours!"

Keeping fans updated while she and Sam were at Worthing Hospital, Amy shared a video, which began: "When we had to leave I was in my pyjamas with a mask on my hair, so I look horrendous.

"We got moved from A&E to the urgent treatment centre" she continued: "I think Sam is just about to go into see someone. He's good, he's just got a massive gash on his head basically, I've enjoyed moving it around."

Sharing that they had returned home okay, the TV star then shared a photo of Sam and Stanley, to which she added the text: "Home now with a glued head [laughing emoji]."

Amy then revealed that the tapas extravaganza still went ahead as she was able to finish cooking when they got home.

The accident comes after Amy opened up about life as a new mum of one after welcoming her first child earlier this year.

And as the couple adjusts to parenthood together with their little one, Amy revealed that she’s kicked her boyfriend out of their bedroom after giving birth to Stanley.

She's also spoken candidly about her labour, and in a conversation with OK! she revealed she was a fan of hypnobirthing.

"Hypnobirthing was absolutely amazing – I did four days and 10cm on hypnobirthing and breathing alone," she said. "I completely recommend that to everybody – it was amazing!"

Amy continued: “I used it in between my contractions as well, so that when I was pushing I used the hypnobreathing to keep my mind focused in between the pushes and then again when I was being stitched up."

And the star gushed over her "magical" boyfriend as she revealed he was "so supportive" from start to finish.

She said: "Throughout the actual labour he was so supportive, rubbing my back. There was a time when I didn't want anyone to touch me, but he still rubbed my back, but kept his distance while rubbing my back.

“It's so magical seeing him being a dad. They have such an amazing bond already – Sam loves the baby cuddles! It's really amazing seeing someone you love so much become a dad and he's going to be an amazing dad forever, but he's been an amazing dad so far."
