Andrea McLean has ‘£2 in business account’ amid fear of losing home after Loose Women exit

Loose Women: Andrea McLean gets emotional during final show

Andrea McLean’s business only has £2 in its accounts, according to reports. It comes after the presenter opened up on her fears that she could lose her home following her exit from ITV’s Loose Women.

Andrea quit the daytime show to focus on her venture This Girl Is On Fire with her husband Nick Feeney.

She had been part of the programme’s panel for 13 years before making the decision to step away from her role towards the end of last year.

Her This Girl Is On Fire business account details were most recently filed in December 2019 when it was a “dormant company”, according to records on Companies House.

However, new figures which are due by the end of March could potentially show an increase, The Sun reports.

Andrea previously addressed her biggest concerns after leaving her work on Loose Women behind.

The television personality and author admitted she was worried she would be left with no choice but to sell her Surrey mansion.

Andrea explained the situation would be the “worst case” scenario if it occurred.

The mum-of-two said while discussing her move to quit Loose Women: “It was such a slow burner.

“By the time it came around, it felt like absolutely the right thing to do. It was a weird decision – it did feel scary!

“It took months of thinking about it. We were preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

“Nick and I sat down and wrote what we needed to prepare for.”

The star added to OK! Magazine: “Worst case – we would have to sell the house.

“Best, the This Girl Is On Fire membership and website we’ve set up works and we’re successful with that.”

Andrea announced she would be leaving Loose Women while she was live on air with co-stars Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Judi Love.

“Last year I had a nervous breakdown,” she said at the time.

“What I felt is that this year, collectively, the world has had a breakdown.

“It made me stop and think, ‘What do I actually want?’ You get one life, are you living it the way that you want?”

She went on: “Are you doing everything that you want to do? Are you being brave? Are you taking chances? And I realised, no.”

While it was a “big decision to jump”, she said she wished to concentrate on her website and brand.

She said on her final show: “It’s really weird, it’s like coming to your own wedding and funeral at the same time.

“I have no idea what’s going to happen today.”
