Brian Austin Green and Courtney Stodden were seen out to lunch together over the weekend and immediately, fans were wondering if they were dating.

The 46-year-old actor recently split from his wife Megan Fox, and just a few weeks later was seen out with the 25-year-old. It became even more apparent that the exes may be moving on when Megan was seen making out with this celeb!

Well, TMZ is now reporting that Brian and Courtney are “just friends who met about a month ago via social media.”

They apparently conversed about “sharing ideas regarding the possibility of creating music together.” The site’s source also added that they “share similar political views, the kind that makes them want to make a change that’s bigger than themselves.”

So for now, things are platonic but perhaps that could change!
