James Argent was not recognised by security during an appearance at a charity football match.
Arg has recently lost over two stone in weight thanks to a gastric band operation, and it was this new slimline look that confused security when he was running late for a soundcheck with his group, The Arg Band.
Despite having to wait in the rain, Arg didn’t seem too upset at the mix-up and took it in his stride as he explained who he was to the baffled security guards.
The TOWIE star seemed in good spirits at the Sellebrity football event, with other celebrities present including Jake Wood, Dan Osborne and James Arthur.
Arg had the life-changing gastric sleeve operation just five weeks ago, and the difference in appearance is already staggering.
Arg told The Sun: “I'm starting to recognise myself in the mirror again, my looks are coming back.”
It seems as though his weight-loss and healthier outlook on life are giving him the confidence to get back into the saddle and start dating again.
He continued: “I would love to meet someone and start a family. I’m in a place I can look after myself I’m in a place where I can take care of a child."
Arg posted on Instagram when he was in the hospital and wrote: “Today Is the First Day of the Rest of My Life. My weight loss journey has STARTED, I’ve had my gastric sleeve surgery with the incredible team at @wearetransform.
"I’ve struggled with my weight for years but I’m finally ready both physically & mentally to do something about it. The next few months are going to be tough but I’m determined to reclaim my life! NEW CHAPTER.”
TOWIE legend Arg posted a picture of himself looking happy at London Fields Lido three days ago.
