Bill Turnbull, 65, has taken to Twitter to send his love to Julia Bradbury, 51 after she posted a sad update on her breast cancer journey. Since Julia posted the update on Twitter the Countryfile presenter has been inundated with support.

The BBC presenter responded to Julia’s post in view of his 109,000 Twitter followers: “Hang in there Julia. It happens.
“Live for today. Remember you are greatly loved.
He continued: “That’s one of the best medicines you can have xx.”
Fans responded to the BBC presenter’s sympathetic comment, adding their own support to Julia.
Diddleypop said: “Day at a time, you’re here and alive, it all takes a while for the brain to compute what’s going on.
“It eases and it becomes manageable and you will adjust and find a level that is okay for you and you’re doing so very well right now.x.”
Cmwilliams26 added: “You’re right Bill, love is a great healer.”
This comes after Julia posted in view of her 150,000 last night about how she was doing.
The former Countryfile presenter has been undergoing treatment after being diagnosed in September.
She wrote: “Yesterday wasn’t such a good day.
“Processing everything that’s happened & what the future holds is a bit much sometimes.
“I was told I’d have ups & downs & it all took over.
“I’m sharing because so many people are going through the same.& that’s OK. (sic)
“Sending love & #BreastCancerAwareness.”
Other celebrity friends were quick to the comments to offer their love and support to the star at this time.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts was one of many to send Julia her well wishes.
Adele recently underwent bowel cancer surgery herself and was quick to give Julia her support.
She penned: “Sending you and your family lots of love Julia xx.”
Julia has had her left breast, along with a six-centimetre tumour, removed.
Since her surgery, she has been going for walks to keep up with her exercise but admitted it hasn’t been easy.
