Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor takes Corrie star mum Sally Dynevor as plus one to glam event

Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor took her Coronation Street star mum Sally Dynevor as her plus one to the star-studded Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2021.

The famous mother and daughter duo, who are best known as Bridgerton’s Daphne and the ITV soap’s Sally Metcalf, posed together for photos as they enjoyed mingling with the other VIP guests, including The Crown actress Claire Foy and Succession star Sarah Snook.

And it was a night to remember for 26-year-old Phoebe, as the in-demand star scooped one of the coveted gongs at the bash which was held at London’s fancy Claridge’s Hotel.

Ever the proud mum, Sally, 58, took to social media to celebrate her daughter’s big win at being named the Breakthrough Talent.

The actress, who has been on the Corrie cobbles for over thirty years, posted a snap of Phoebe clutching her award, writing a touching message alongside it.

She said: “So proud to be with Phoebe @bazaaruk women of the year. #BreakthroughArtist.”

Sally’s Corrie co-stars past and present were quick to congratulate Phoebe on the honour, saying how proud Sally must be of her talented daughter.

Sally Carman, best known as Corrie’s Abi Franklin, wrote a string of clapping hand emojis, adding: “This is awesome Sal.”

While Sally’s on-screen daughter Brooke Vincent, who is taking a break from playing Sophie Webster, added: “PHOEBE. She is the image of you Sal.’

The soap actress, who recently confirmed she was part of next year’s Dancing on Ice line-up, also went on to share a string of photos on her Instagram story from behind-the-scenes of the night.

In the first, she’s laughing and joking with Phoebe and Claire Foy, while in the second she’s all smiles with Succession actress Sarah Snook, who plays fan favourite Shiv Roy.

Meanwhile, Phoebe, who will star in the second series of Bridgerton, also updated her Instagram followers with images from the memorable occasion.

Posting a snap from the red carpet of her wearing a stylish black dress, Phoebe wrote: “What a night.”

“Thank you @bazaaruk for honouring me with the award among so many incredibly inspiring women.”

She then gave a shout-out to her Bridgeton co-star Golda Rosheuvel, who presented her with her award, saying: “You’re a DREAM. Thank you for your kind words, you truly are a QUEEN.”
