Garth Brooks Announces Stadium Tour Stop In Saskatchewan

Garth Brooks has added a new venue to his stadium tour – Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan.

When he tours Regina this summer, the Country Music Hall of Famer will be playing in the Canadian city for the first time.

Brooks will also become the first country singer to play at Mosaic Stadium when he takes the stage on August 10, which coincides with the Folk Festival weekend.

He has scheduled to perform in 30 stadiums over three years.

Regina Mayor Michael Fougere said the City Council is pleased and honored to have Brooks coming to the city for the concert.

“This is why we built the stadium, was to have events like this coming, world class events like Garth Brooks, coming here,” Fougere said.

The news was broken by the singer on Twitter.

“The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour is coming to YOU. Announcing the FIRST EVER country concert in Mosaic Stadium #GARTHinREGINA August 10, 2019. Tickets ON SALE Friday, June 7 at 10am CST at http://Ticketmaster.ca/GarthBrooks,” he tweeted.
