Geordie Shore’s Chantelle Connelly shows off toned body three weeks after birth

Geordie Shore star Chantelle Connelly has boasted that her 'body is back' to her pre-pregnancy figure just three weeks after giving birth.

The new mum, who had son Riccardo at the end of May via emergency cesarean, shared a snap of her rippling abs with her Instagram followers.

In it she donned a white Calvin Klein lingerie set with her thigh tattoo on full display.

She wrote in the caption: "The body coming back after my baby who is 3 weeks old getting back to myself."

A second picture showed the 29-year-old cradling her son on her chest as she pouted into the camera for a mum and baby selfie .

Many of Chantelle's followers were surprised to see the reality star looking so toned after giving birth not long ago.

One asked: "How do you even have time to get toned like that?"

"You look better than me three weeks post-partum than I do as a childless 24 year old," joked another.

A third said: "Doesn’t even look like you’ve had one!!"

Back in September Chantelle revealed she was pregnant after a whirlwind romance with boyfriend Lee Blackburn.

However, she was mercilessly trolled a month later when cruel commenters accused her of lying about her pregnancy because of her toned figure.

Posing in a pair of tracksuit bottoms with her abs on display, she wrote "Roll on my baby bod, I'm too excited."

After giving birth at the end of May, Chantelle revealed that she 'almost died'.

After she was given an epidural her blood pressure dropped to around 60 and she started slipping into cardiac arrest, she said.

Chantelle called the birth an "absolute nightmare" as she revealed that birth her and the baby's lives were in danger.

She told The Sun : "The doctors all came running in and flushed my system to get the epidural out, I perked up a bit but then the baby's heartbeat was dead low and they needed to get him out straight away."

The reality TV star was rushed to theatre where she was put to sleep and her son started "deteriorating".

Her mum Allison announced the news on Instagram at 8am on Tuesday, telling fans her daughter had had to be "put to sleep".

"My beautiful grandson born 6 minutes past 6. Weighs 6lb 6oz," she wrote.
