Jennifer Lopez Breaks Her Silence on Report She's Mad at Ben Affleck for Jennifer Garner Comments

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together again and their relationship continues to make headlines. The couple is magnetic and their every move is always in the spotlight. Affleck made the news after making claims about his marriage to ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The comments were largely rejected by the public at large and there was a report Lopez was even mad at Affleck. Now the “If You Had My Love” crooner is breaking her silence and revealing how she really feels about the situation.

What did Ben Affleck say about Jennifer Garner?

Affleck was in the eye of a storm after making an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. The Gone Girl actor opened up about his marriage to Garner and made some claims that received a lot of backlash among fans. Affleck said that he “had a marriage that didn’t work” and despite trying to make it work for their two kids, it didn’t work out.

However, it was the comments where he said he felt trapped in the marriage that has generated criticism against the actor.

“I’d probably still be drinking. It’s part of why I started drinking … because I was trapped,” Affleck said. “I was like ‘I can’t leave ’cause of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do.’ What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.”

Affleck also said that he and Garner made the decision to divorce so their kids didn’t grow up seeing an unhappy couple.

“We had a marriage that didn’t work, this happens, with somebody that I love and respect, but to whom I shouldn’t be married any longer. Ultimately, we tried. We tried, we tried because we had kids. Both of us felt like we don’t want this to be the model that our kids see of marriage,” he also said.
