Julia Bradbury, 51, has addressed fans about World Cancer Day – which will be held on February 4 – in a Twitter post today. The star took to social media to post about walking therapy.
Julia wrote to fans while she was on a walk and posted a short clip as she discussed the benefits of being outdoors.
She wrote in the caption: “Have you had your #walkingtherapy today? It’s good for you you know?
“Just 30 minutes can elevate your mood & improve your overall health.”
In the video, she reminded her followers that it was “world cancer day” and that she felt like she needed to say hello to the fans.
She said: “Hello everybody. It’s World Cancer Day this week and I’m out filming some messages for World Cancer Day and the NHS and I haven’t said hello to you like this.
“I’m in my local park, I’m out getting my outdoor therapy. I want to reiterate that if you’ve got an ailment, even if it’s physical get yourself outside every day for a bit of fresh air. It makes all the difference.
“It can make you feel better. It does have a genuine impact on your brain and your body.
She reiterated that spending time outside is good for you, “on so many levels”.
The presenter said: “I’m sending love to you all and don’t forget to get outside!”
Fans were quick to jump on to the post to support her message.
Many of her 160,000 followers gave her plenty of compliments on her brown winter coat.

In regards to taking walks, @LaupLaup2 penned: “I normally do but today I am too tired. Being a carer and all.”
@Hazelellio showed off some of their walking stats and wrote: “I think I’ve done quite enough today at beautiful Hebdon Bridge.”
@Tomcatmam said: “You look well. I’ve done my 30 minutes with my daughter who is recovering from a serious illness. Parky out there.”

Julia has been very open about her battle with breast cancer.
She hopes that she can be a helpful voice for those suffering from the disease.
