Kate Garraway, 54, stunned fans as she wore a midi skirt featuring two daring thigh-high splits today. The broadcaster seemed in good spirits as she beamed during her sunny outing in Central London.

The Good Morning Britain star was seen wearing a black top embellished with gold buttons and a flowy midi skirt that boasted the eye-catching splits.

She complemented the look with black heeled ankle boots and a turquoise jacket.

Kate was pulling along a suitcase that matched her black and blue outfit, in new pictures obtained by the MailOnline.

The TV personality seemed to be glowing with joy in the snaps after she recently announced her husband, Derek Draper, is now able to do “some exercises” with her.

Kate documented Derek’s battle with coronavirus in her documentary, Finding Derek.

She recently took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Derek when the documentary was announced as a winner of a National Television Award.

She wrote the caption: “Wow. Thank you so so much.

“Have been in such an emotional daze all night I failed to get a single photo of me or the brilliant @flickerproductions team who made #findingderek @theofficalntas.

“But maybe this is the photo you most wanted to see anyway – Me FaceTiming derek (via Darcey’s phone!) to tell him we had won!

“From him and from the bottom of our family’s hearts THANKYOU.

“For all who are struggling on and holding on to hope – this is for you,” she added.

Kate also recently confirmed she is to make a move from ITV over to the BBC for a new one-off programme.

Good Morning Britain and Smooth Radio host Kate is now set to lead a new medical programme called Doctor Can You See Me Now?.

The journalist will be in charge of presenting the show alongside Dr Guddi Singh.

Viewers will be taken on a journey inside the body to explore medical conditions and their treatment.

Doctor Can You See Me Now? will air on BBC Two for six episodes.

It will also make use of technological tools such as augmented reality and 3D visuals.

Speaking on the upcoming release, Kate told the Daily Star: “I am thrilled to be part of this fascinating new series that uses the most incredibly advanced technology to help us get a better understanding of how our bodies function when they require urgent medical attention.”

She added: “I believe we have all become increasingly curious about our health and well-being since the start of the pandemic, including me personally.

“I’m looking forward to delving deeper into the fascinating, emotional and empowering journey of all our patients and for them to see what is going on inside their own bodies.”
