Lily James nails an avant-garde look with a strapless mesh number while Daisy Edgar-Jones flashes her taut abs in a cut-out metallic dress as they join a stunning Claire Foy in leading the British stars at the Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles

Lily James looked sensational as she led the slew of stars at the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday evening, which was held inside Los Angeles’ Fairmont Century Plaza.

The Pam & Tommy actress showed off her sense of style as she donned a bold strapless dress with a mesh panel overlay and bow-waist detail.

Also in attendance was Daisy Edgar-Jones, who displayed her toned physique in a stylish metallic dress, and Claire Foy, who also went strapless in a patterned blue number.

Lily looked typically chic in her stand-out dress, which featured a nude skirt underlining and dramatic mesh layer on top with a black striped design.

She teamed the number with a pair of black stiletto heels with an open toe – keeping the focus on the dress as she simply added a dainty silver necklace to the look.

The screen star had her chocolate brown locks pulled into an up-do, with her fringe left to sweep over her forehead as a nude brushing of makeup enhanced the star’s complexion. 

Posing for a slew of snaps on the red carpet of the event, she was joined by Pam & Tommy co-star Sebastian Stan for some pictures together.

The romanian actor looked smart in a black tuxedo for the event, which he teamed with a simple navy T-shirt. 

Also storming the A-list carpet was Normal People actress Daisy, who was kitted out in a draping Gucci number.
