Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Could Give a “No-Holds-Barred” Interview After Leaving Royal Family

This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their plans to step down from their positions as senior members of the British royal family. And according to ITN journalist Tom Bradby, who followed the Sussexes on their royal tour of Africa in October 2018, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could open up about their decision in a tell-all TV interview.

Writing for The Sunday Times, Bradby revealed, “I have some idea of what might be aired in a full, no-holds-barred, sit-down interview and I don’t think it would be pretty.”

He continued, “I suspect the royal family would carry British public opinion still—perhaps only just—but its international standing is a key part of its value to the British state. If that were to be tarnished, it could be very damaging indeed.”

As for why Harry and Meghan made the decision to step down, the journalist explained, “The fallout began at the time of the wedding in 2018. Really damaging things were said and done. The atmosphere soured hard and early, but few meaningful attempts were made by anyone to heal the wounds.”

It seems that major changes are ahead for the royal family, although what that means for Meghan, Harry, and Archie remains unclear.
