Olivia Bowen announces first pregnancy with husband Alex with adorable bump snaps
There's another Love Island baby on the way!
Olivia Bowen and her husband Alex have announced that they're are expecting their first child.
The couple – who met during the second series of Love Island back in 2016 – shared the joyous news on Instagram.
Posting a sweet picture, Olivia, 27, wrote: "Happy New… Baby Bowen."
In the adorable collage shared by the mum-to-be, Alex can be seen kissing her baby bump.
And in another photo the pair hold up some cotton booties in sweet scenes.
Olivia and Alex also shared a peek at the ultrasound, and a T-shirt reads 'baby Bowen.'
Olivia hinted recently that she and Alex, 30, are ready for children, saying: "We’ve been talking about kids recently. We’d love to have one in the near future, which I don’t think we were ready for before.
“It was a bit of a revelation – I’ve got a picture of us when we decided that we’d not worry about contraception any more.”
"We’re not putting any pressure on it, but that’s our next step," she added. "I feel like I’m such an un-motherly person, but suddenly something changes. You just grow up. We’ve got so much to look forward to.”
Alex and Olivia came second in the 2016 series of Love Island, narrowly missing out to Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde.
Since exiting the reality series, the couple have been going from strength to strength. They celebrated a whirlwind engagement just months after the show when Alex popped the question during a birthday trip for Olivia to New York.
After a fairytale wedding in 2018, which was exclusively covered by OK!, the pair set their sights on renovating a gorgeous Essex mansion.
Olivia, who boasts a whopping 2.6 million Instagram followers, has worked with fashion brands to carve out a career for herself since leaving the show.
And despite their busy work schedules, the pair are still very much in love. The blonde beauty recently told OK! how she and Alex make time for each other.
"Me and Alex are just really chilled. We were saying the other day that all of a sudden, we’ve just grown up," she said recently. "I don’t know if we’re lazy or we just stay in a lot of the time, but we just like each other’s company."
Olivia continued: "We’re quite happy to chill at home, get a takeaway and watch a film. We’re very cosy, little country bumpkins now. I think it’s all about reminding each other that you love each other."
When asked if her other half is a romantic at home with their two pooches Winnie and Reggie, the star shared: "He’s really good.
"Even today, it sounds so soppy, but he was leaving and wasn’t coming back until Sunday, and he kept coming in for one more kiss and saying, 'I don’t want to leave you!' He is such a sweetheart."
Liv added: "I don’t know where the hell he was made! He just makes me feel very loved, I’m very lucky.
"He’s so much better [at being romantic] than me, I’m more of the bloke than he is!"
