Olly Murs hits back as ex The Voice UK viewer refuses to watch show because of him

Olly Murs, 36, joined The Voice in 2018 and has been a winning coach twice. During the latest episode, the popstar responded to Twitter users who shared their thoughts about the show.

While many said they were liking tonight’s edition, one former viewer said they no longer watch it because Olly is a coach.

Olly spotted the harsh remark on Twitter and replied, seemingly taking no offence.

Hitting back in view of his 7.1 million followers, he wrote: “That’s a shame I’ve won it twice,” followed by crying with laughter emojis.

While watching the show from home, the coach added he was shocked none of the other coaches had turned for contestant Leah.

“She is only 16 and has such confidence on that stage! Such a cool, fun audition! Lovedddddd it! So quirky.”(sic)

But luckily for Olly, the singing sensation is now on his team.

“Welcome to #teamOlly,” he added.

Fans of the show were quick to agree with the coach on Twitter.

One user wrote: “Her voice is good i thought it was going to be a four chair turn and great choice #thevoiceuk #TeamOlly.”

“Winner winner right their Olly she is amazing for 16 @ollymurs,” a second commented.

A third added: “Great choice!!!”

Olly is a coach on the show alongside will.i.am, Anne-Marie and Sir Tom Jones.
