23-year-old fashion model Meadow Rain Walker, who lost father Paul Walker at the tender age of 15, took to Instagram to share a family snapshot of him affectionately kissing her on the cheek when she was a baby.

She captioned the image in view of her 3.6 million followers: “I love and miss you endlessly. Today and everyday I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend.”

Instagrammer joeme.29 wrote in reply: “We miss him too , every second of every day.

“He’s the one that taught us to do good to love nature and every creature.

“He’s the legend of the whole car community and he still the best human to ever exist.”

Meanwhile paulwalkerfans.iran encouraged: “You’re as perfect as your father dear Meadow.”

Her father met his death during a devastating 2013 crash, when he was the passenger in a car driven by Roger Rodas.

The speeding car smashed into a concrete pole and two trees while running at up to 93mph in a 45mph zone – and both parties were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meadow suffered the traumatising blow just a year after she had moved from Hawaii to live with her father in California and try to strengthen their relationship.

She then attempted to sue Porsche, claiming her father could have survived the crash, but was burnt alive after being trapped by his seatbelt.

She cited the Carrera GT model’s alleged “instability” issues.

It was later reported that she had won a multi-million pound settlement with the company.

In a bid to ensure his death was not in vain, hard-working Meadow strived to set up a non-profit foundation in her father’s name, The Paul Walker Foundation.

The charity is dedicated to “spontaneous acts of goodwill that empower young people and support the environment they live in” and has a particular emphasis on protecting oceans, wildlife and the planet.

Meanwhile Meadow’s private life has taken a turn for the better lately, when she tied the knot with acting student Louis Thornton Allan in the Dominican Republic last month.

She was walked down the aisle by none other than Vin Diesel, who starred alongside her father in the Fast and Furious film franchise.

Protective Vin Diesel is said to view her as more like a biological daughter and it seems that the feeling may be mutual.

He revealed to Extra recently: “She’s the first person… to wish me Happy Father’s Day.”

This is in spite of the fact that Vin, one of the world’s highest grossing actors, has three biological children of his own – Similce, Vincent and Pauline.

He added: “To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things.

“There are moments when I see her playing with Pauline and it hits me so deep cause I can only imagine what [Paul] sees when he sees that.”

Although he hasn’t formally adopted Meadow, it seems he is playing the role of godfather to excellent effect.
