Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh enjoys sweet family day out ahead of birth of second child
Lucy Mecklenburgh, fiancé Ryan Thomas and their son Roman, two, enjoyed a sweet family outing on Saturday ahead of the birth of her second child.
Lucy, 30, who is due to welcome a baby girl any day now, and her husband-to-be Ryan 37, enjoyed a fun day of painting with Roman, who decorated a clay butterfly to celebrate his grandma’s 90th birthday.
The fun outing also continued later on, with dad Ryan helping the youngster to paint a dinosaur a vibrant shade of green while Lucy documented the scenes with a cheerful caption of: “Not sure who’s enjoying themselves more, lol!”
The fun didn’t stop there either, as before long the pair had abandoned painting options and taken to painting each other, with Roman seen laughing and smiling away as his dad painted his face with blobs of paint.
Not one to be outdone, it was then Ryan’s turn to don an artistic addition to his look; with a paint smudge soon appearing on the star’s nose, cheeks and forehead too.
The enjoyable day out comes ahead of the birth of the couple’s second child, a baby girl, who is due any day now.
Lucy had originally been due to give birth last week, but the little one had yet to make an appearance by Friday, prompting the TV star to ask for tips on inducing labour from her fans.
Posting on her Instagram story, the TV personality asked if there were any "ways to induce labour," and gave her followers the opportunity to type in their own answers for her.
The star also seemed to be experiencing a significant amount of discomfort from the pregnancy as she also revealed to fans that she had already booked a reflexology appointment to help try and combat the stress and anxiety of pregnancy.
Reflexology is a common treatment for dealing with the stress and anxiety of pregnancy and can also help relieve common mood swings, backache, muscle pain and sleeping problems – all common issues when a woman is near the end of her pregnancy.
