Prince William has arrived at a royal engagement on his own after Kate Middleton was forced to pull out after becoming exposed to a positive Covid case.
The 39 year old looked dapper in a navy blue suit as he arrived at St Paul's Cathedral to attend a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the NHS.
Under his suit jacket he wore a crisp white shirt, adding a blue tie to his look, in a lighter hue to that of his suit.
In line with government guidelines, he wore a black face mask as he was welcomed to the Cathedral.
His wife Kate, also 39, was due to attend alongside him but it was announced moments before William's arrival that she was self-isolating.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace told ITV News: "Last week The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19."
A separate spokesperson said: "Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home."
