Sophie Gradon’s Love Island co-stars pay emotional tributes as they mark first anniversary of her tragic death
Sophie Gradon tragically took her own life on June 20 2018.
And today, as they mark the first anniversary of her tragic and untimely death, Love Island and the model’s former co-stars have paid tribute to her.
Leading the honours, the official Love Island Instagram account remembered the chatastamatic reality star with a touching post.
Alongside a beautiful photo of Sophie on Instagram, they wrote: “In loving memory of Sophie Gradon (1985-2018), missed but never forgotten.”
Zara Holland posted a heartwarming tribute on Twitter alongside a series of photos with her and Sophie.
“Your always in my thoughts gorgeous girl, Sophie, I can’t believe it’s been a year since you went to heaven.
"We all love and miss you so much. RIP baby girl x,” she emotionally wrote.

Malin Anderson also penned a touching message: “RIP to the most beautiful soul and friend Sophie Gradon.. miss you so much. Please all look after each other up there.”
Meanwhile, Sophie’s Love Island partner Tom Powell shared a photo of them together on Instagram, alongside the caption: “1 year”
The reality star was just 32 when she was found dead in her home on 20 June last year.

At the time, Northumbria Police confirmed: "At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner."
Tragically just three weeks after Sophie’s passing her boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, was found dead.
