Stacey Solomon admits maternity leave isnt going to plan: Its flying by!

Stacey Solomon has admitted that her maternity leave has not gone to plan as she is so “exhausted.”

The Loose Women panellist gave birth to her and Joe Swash's first daughter, Rose, on her 32nd birthday in October.

And since Rose’s arrival, the mum of four has been in a bubble of love with the newborn, spending lots of time at home with the baby and her other children.

Stacey has been keeping her loyal 4.3 million Instagram followers updated on her daily life with her children Zachary, 13, Leighton, nine, Rex, two and Rose.

Taking to her stories, Stacey shared a black and white video with gorgeous baby Rose and said: "Back in bed – shocker. I am as exhausted as I look. I look like my little brother at the moment [laughing emoji]."

Stacey also opened up about how her expectations of her maternity leave have been quite different to her reality.

"I can't wait to get some energy and do all of the things I imagined I'd do on maternity," she said.

"I feel a bit sad that it's flying by and the days are so short and I'm not doing anything because I'm more than half way through it and I'm feeling like I don't want it to be over."

She added: “Rose is just like I don’t care where we go as long as those boobs come with us.”

Stacey previously revealed how “unsettled” Rose had been for a few days, telling fans the “little crazy leap” in her behaviour had left her exhausted.

However, as Stacey herself predicted, days later Rose smiled for the first time and her doting mum captured the adorable moment on camera.

In the snaps, the 6 week old beams from ear to ear in a beautiful sage green knitted ensemble and matching bow headband.

The sweet milestone left fans commenting on Rose’s striking resemblance to her older brother, Rex and her dad, the former I’m a Celeb King of the Jungle, Joe, 39.

Joe had delighted followers with a video of sleepy Stacey falling asleep up right on the sofa, as he chuckled and said: “Mummy’s had a long day.”

The mother of four also shared an adorable photo of her four ‘pickles’, her affectionate term for her children, snuggled up in bed, which she lovingly described as her “whole world”.

"Hello Sunday, I think I'm just going to squeeze in there with them for the day," Stacey penned. "But first, I just had to stand over the top of you all like a weirdo and take a picture."

"These are my favourite memories… The room in the bed is a little bit smaller these days, but our hearts are a whole lot bigger.”

"It still doesn't feel real that you're here Rose. Happy Sunday everyone. I hope this makes you smile as much as it did me this morning."
