Strictly Come Dancing’s Ranvir Singh’s ‘romance’ with dance partner Giovanni Pernice is ‘just for TV’

Romance rumours have surrounded Strictly Come Dancing’s Ranvir Singh and her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice for the last few weeks, with fans convinced by their amazing routines on the dance floor.
However, a source has now claimed the pair's on screen chemistry is simply "fantasy" and is a bit of entertainment put on for the viewers of the popular competition show.
The 43 year old TV presenter and Italian dancer, 30, did the Viennese Waltz to She Used To Be Mine from Waitress on 5 December, leaving the judging panel in complete awe of their performance.
While they sang their praises for the duo, fans at home noticed an intimate moment shared between them as Giovanni kissed her head.

But it appears that their apparent "romance" that viewers have been talking about non-stop across social media is just for show as a source claimed to MailOnline: "It's just for TV."
OK! online has approached both star's representatives for further comment surrounding their relationship.
It comes as the BBC recently released a video showing the pair’s previously unheard conversation as they got into character for their stunning American Smooth routine last week.
Eagle-eyed fans went wild after spotting Giovanni, who Natalie Lowe said is the "perfect match" for the TV personality, calling Ranvir “baby girl” and declaring “I love you” as they danced.

Ranvir shared the video with her followers on Twitter, writing: “Turns out @pernicegiovann1 was very chatty during our American Smooth on Saturday !!”
In the short clip, which also features Ranvir’s fellow Strictly contestants’ performances and conversations, Aretha Franklin’s song I Say A Little Prayer began to play as Giovanni said: “Surprise, it’s our song baby girl!”
Ranvir replied: “I love this song!” Giovanni then repeated that it’s their song, before continuing: “I love you, let’s go.”’

After their performance Ranvir, who recently shared a peak into her house that she shares with her son, explained to Strictly presenter Claudia Winkleman that she and Gio were channeling a married couple they had spotted during filming for the duration of their routine.
But that hasn’t stopped viewers having their say on the previously unheard audio.
One viewer commented: “Ever so into that character wasn’t he?” adding a laughing crying emoji. While another said: “Well done for managing to function after this…. “baby girl”, “i love you”, “let’s go baby” and the singing too. Keep up the good work, everyone is rooting for you!”

Others praised the GMB star for her Strictly journey so far, saying they were backing her and her dance partner to win the competition.
“I really really hope you win, no background in this sort of “celebrity” but you shine!!” one of Ranvir’s followers said. “Cool, calm, collected, classy and so very beautiful when you dance! I believe stars like you are why this programme was originally created!! My winner definitely.”
“The best pairing!! hope training is going well, we’re all rooting for you,” another added.
