First Time Mum sensation Ferne McCann is a strong, independent mum of one to her daughter Sunday – who she shares with her ex boyfriend Arthur Collins.

While he is no longer in her life, we take a look at how she met the former scaffolder, their relationship history and where he is now.

How did Ferne meet Arthur Collins?

TOWIE star Ferne McCann first met Arthur Collins back in June 2016 but the pair split a few months after a trip to Ibiza.

The First Time Mum star went on to star on Celebs Go Dating to find love again at the beginning of 2017, but later rekindled her relationship with Arthur just a month after the show finished filming in March.

When Ferne and Arthur decided to give things another go, they posted loved-up snaps and discussed plans to get married.

What did Arthur Collins do?

Ferne was planning on publicly announcing her pregnancy with Arthur, but it was soon claimed that the police wanted to speak to Arthur over an acid attack that left over 20 people with burns.

The incident took place in an East London nightclub Mangle E8 in Dalston, east London, after he got into a fight with a group of men.

The scaffolder was found by the police in a house in Northamptonshire after he attempted to go into hiding.

When Ferne – who recently split from Jack Padgett – found out the police were looking for him, she urged him to go to the police.

One of her representatives said at the time: "Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him.

"As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."

What was Arthur convicted with?

Ferne gave birth to her now three year old daughter Sunday on November 2nd in 2017, with Arthur being found guilty two weeks after.

Arthur was jailed for 20 years with an extra five years on license after he was found guilty of carrying out the acid attack.

He found himself being convicted at a hearing in November of five counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and nine counts of actual bodily harm.

He also had an additional five years on license as Judge Noel Lucas QC said he was "an accomplished and calculating liar who failed to demonstrate the slightest remorse".

In January 2018, Arthur had another eight months added to his sentence after he'd smuggled a phone into prison so he could "secretly contact Ferne".

Arthur is currently serving his time at HMP Full Sutton in York. He submitted an appeal for against his sentence but it was rejected on October 3 2018.

Has Ferne's daughter Sunday visited Arthur?

Ferne spoke out about her decision to let her daughter to see her father on her show First Time Mum.

"I've been forced into make tough decisions and she will have a relationship with her dad. She's going to see him in prison – I can't even bring myself to say it out loud… It wasn't an easy decision to make but it was a considered decision," she said.

She also shared on Loose Women: "I did [see a child psychologist before]. I was open about that in the press.

"I wanted it to come from me first and then yes, I got seen taking Sunday into the prison. He asserted his parental rights, so I didn’t really have a choice.

"She's always going to be curious and want to know who her father is. So until she is old enough to make her own decisions that's how it's going to be."
