I upcycled a £12 wedding dress I bought from a charity shop & people can't believe the results

IT'S no surprise couples spend years saving up for their wedding day.

From the food to the DJ and table settings, everything soon adds up – and let's not forget the hefty price of that fairy tale dress.

But one savvy woman, who is from the US, has proven that your dream gown doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Taking to TikTok, Janelle Hultquist, who is from the US, shared a short clip where she could be seen trying on a long-sleeved lace dress she purchased for £12 from a thrift store.

Deciding to give it a new lease of life, she set to work giving it a modern update.

After cutting off the puff-shoulder sleeves, she took it in around the waist and added every woman's dream feature – pockets.
