I work at Taco Bell – staff are lying when they say they've run out of something, here's how to get around it

YOU might be met with a feeling of disappointment when you're told that Taco Bell is out of their delicious cinnamon twists.

But fret not, because according to an ex-employee's claims, there's a way to get your hands on your favorite Taco Bell foods even when staff says they don't have them on hand.

Speaking to The Sun, a previous Taco Bell employee claimed that when staff say they've run out of something, most of the time, they apparently aren't telling the truth.

They explained: “We don’t run out of supplies that often, so if you come back in 30 minutes it will probably be available.”

They also detailed exactly why staff might say they've run out of something despite still having it.

“About 75 percent of the time when we say that we ran out of something, especially during closing time or a super busy time, we probably just don’t want to make it.”

I’m a Taco Bell fan – I took drastic steps to get my favorite item back on menu

Under the pressure of being super busy during peak hours, or simply attempting to go home on time by avoiding complex orders, staff would sometimes state they don't have certain items, according to the ex-employee.

So, the next time you go to your local Taco Bell on a busy day and they say they're out of your favorite meal, you might want to just try again in half an hour.

The sun has reached out to Taco Bell for comment.

This news come after the same Taco Bell employee claimed that some of their foods are not as fresh first thing in the morning.

The previous employee disclosed: “We do carry over, so if you come really early in the morning, most of the stuff you’re eating is from last night. But it’s stored correctly.

"Any fried items like chalupas, french fries, or cinnabons we throw out, but things like beef, beans, lettuce, and cheese, we save them," they said, explaining that the leftover ingredients are properly stored.

The former employee also shared that a certain sugary snack item could be kept in the store for days, though also stored properly.

They said: “Cinnamon twists could be days old, but when people eat them they’re probably not stale because they get stored in a warm heating cabinet.”
