Queen Camilla exudes elegance in navy and white for Maundy Thursday

King and Queen Consort arrive at Maundy Service amid protests

Queen Camilla, 75, arrived with her husband King Charles at the York Minster for the annual Maundy Thursday service. The Queen Consort looked magnificent in a navy and white dress and matching hat.

Queen Camilla’s dress appeared to be a navy and white design, with long navy sleeves and a flowing navy skirt.

Underneath, the sleeves appeared to be lined with white fabric which continued onto the Queen Consort’s collar and lapel.

She accessorised with a wide-brimmed navy suede hat with a white sash wrapped around it.

This added an elegant flare to the Queen Consort’s outfit for Maundy Thursday.

This hat appeared to be her navy Philip Treacy hat that has a white sash and a wide, see-through brim.

The Queen Consort previously wore this hat to Royal Ascot in October 2022 which she paired with another navy and white dress by Bruce Oldfield.

Camilla further accessorised today with a plain black strap watch, as opposed to her usual quirky FitBit which she has been seen with over the last few years.

Additionally, the Queen Consort wore some chic white pearl earrings to complement her white and navy look.

Queen Camilla accessorised with the late Queen Mother’s rock crystal brooch today as she arrived at the Maundy Thursday service.

The brooch is made from transparent rock crystal. The gem has a diamond in the centre and a diamond border with black enamel accents.

Due to the transparency of rock crystal, the brooch oftentimes takes on the colour of the clothing worn behind it, hence why it looked navy today on Queen Camilla. In the 1920s, the Queen Mother first wore the brooch, most frequently as a headwear decoration.

Queen Camilla could be seen holding a navy blue handbag, which appeared to be her AS1286 Crossbody Bag from Chanel which is no longer in stock.

In addition, the Queen Consort donned her favourite blue Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.

Queen Camilla further wore some sheer black tights and her trustworthy black block heels.

The Queen Consort rarely wears stilettos like Kate Middleton and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh because of her open admission to suffering from bunions.

Queen Camilla styled her blonde hair with her usual blow-dry and wavy ends.

She wore fairly visible dark eyeliner and added some light pink lipstick which went perfectly well with her navy and white ensemble.

As he and Camilla, the Queen Consort, attended the Royal Maundy ceremony at York Minster today, King Charles III waved to onlookers.

For the first time since becoming Monarch and Supreme Governor of the Church of England, King Charles presented Maundy Money to a particular group of Christians.

This was seen as a token of appreciation for their work within the Church.
