Shopper shows off 'extreme' stash of washing pods & Asda bargains from 35p- but people ask where he’ll keep it all

EVEN though we like to think we've got our bargain hunting methods down to a fine art, we have to admit – there is still an element of right place at the right time.

So when this savvy shopper spotted some of their everyday essentials reduced to as little as 35p in their local Asda and Wilko, they rushed to stock up.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the man shared a photo of his impressive stash of washing pods, shampoo and moisturiser.

He wrote: "Ariel pods were £2 for 25 wash from Wilko. Maui 90p from the Asda, Tresemme 35p from the Asda, body butters 45p from the Asda."

The bloke's 21 Maui shampoos and conditioners – which normally retail for £8.99 each – would have ordinarily have set him back £98.89.

Meanwhile, he also stocked up on 20 of Tresamme's Collagen Fullness range which usually cost £2.50 each – but only set him back £7.

The post racked up over 800 'likes' on the Facebook group – but other bargain hunters couldn't wrap their heads around where he'll keep it all.

"I'm jealous," one wrote. "Ignore the sour people!"

"Great finds," another added. "I haven't had much luck."

"Wow!!! I need to ask the question," a third said. "Where are you gonna keep all that??!! I have no space I my house."

"You can bet if I saw those Maui shampoos, I would be clearing it as well," another wrote. "These can cost up to £10 a bottle. Well done on your haul."
