A DIY pro has revealed how she transformed her garden for a quarter of the price she was quoted – and even managed to build her own professional-looking patio.
Anna revealed that she and her partner were told a new lawn and patio would set them back £6k, so decided to take on the project themselves.
Now people are obsessing over the final result, and vowing to attempt something similar in their own gardens.
Known online as @our_home_style_, she regularly shares DIY ideas and interior design tips with her 311,100 followers.
In a new TikTok reel, she said: “We were quoted £6k to renovate our garden but couldn’t afford it as we had just moved in.
“So we did it ourselves for £2k.”

During the 12-second video, Anna shares a glimpse at her garden before their budget makeover, revealing an overgrown lawn, surrounded by a bog-standard brown fence and beige patio stones.
She then shares the drawing she did planning out her new outdoor space, showing their initial plans for their DIY patio.
Next, the homeowner goes on to share a step-by-step guide on how they did the makeover themselves, first starting by removing the turf and excess soil on the area they wanted their new patio.
After leveling it out, the pair built a wall around it to separate it from the lawn.

The DIY pro and her partner then went on to lay grey concrete slabs, before painting the surrounding wall a similar colour.
Finally, the pair added a raised table and bar stools, as well as an outdoor rug and plus L-shaped sofa.
Below the video, Anna added: “We had so many ‘cowboy job’, ‘it will sink the first sight of rain’.
“Well it’s been 2 years and it's still going strong.”
Fans loved her budget transformation, with the video gaining more than 17,100 likes and 489,400 views.
