Aldi Black Friday 2020 deals: what to look out for

ALDI doesn't officially take part in Black Friday usually, but that doesn't mean shoppers will miss out on the sale bonanza.

In previous years, the discounter carried on with its weekly Specialbuys promotion, so customers could still bag a bargain.

Just because items are in a Black Friday sale, doesn't mean you can't find them, or something similar, cheaper elsewhere. Always shop around before spending your money.

The discounter hasn't yet confirmed whether it's doing the same around Black Friday this year, so keep an eye on this page as we near the date.

When is Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday is on Friday 29 November, but many Black Friday discounts are available before and after this date with many shops stretching the deals and discounts over several days and even weeks sometimes.

Black Friday is always towards the end of November and is the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday, which is always on the fourth Thursday of November.

What to expect from Aldi's Black Friday 2020 sale

Specialbuy deals always drop on Thursdays and Sundays and last November was no exception – they were released on Thursday November 28 and Sunday December 1.

This was instead of a specific Black Friday promotion on November 29.

Previous years have included offers on electrical items including a wireless speaker, boombox and Polaroid camera, just to mention a few.

Aldi's Specialbuys are released in small amounts at a low price, so you have to be quick if you want to get your hands on them.

Aldi's Black Friday Specialbuys are expected to drop on Thursday 28 November and Sunday 1 December this year.
