Ben Mezrich. If you don’t know him, you should. Mezrich is real rich.

He’s written best sellers like “Bitcoin Billionaires” and “Bringing Down the House.” Swinging from bull market to bullheaded, the guy’s crypto crazy.

Fluctuating toward immortality, his newie “The Antisocial Network” is becoming a movie. Another, “The Accidental Billionaires,” begat the film “The Social Network,” which was about founding Facebook, and Armie Hammer (excuse the expression) played the Winklevoss twins, and — ready? — Scott Rudin was the producer. This new one, due in September, is about a recent wild Wall Street ride with a rogue group rallying dead stocks into live gold.

Possibly we simple folk just need to look at the stock market’s positive side: The sound, secure investments of today are the tax losses of tomorrow.

Cher-ish her

Continuin the future’s march on yesterday — following a film on Billie Holiday comes now Universal’s bio about Cher who is so smashing and terrific that she’s even outlived her hairpieces.

Producers are the “Mamma Mia!” team. Writer Eric Roth won an Oscar for “Forrest Gump.” Cher’s co-producing. Who plays her, who knows. Maybe RuPaul? His wardrobe’s just as great.

Staging the stage

Checking on who was on what once was Broadway, Joel Grey said: “I began at 8 in a kid’s show in Cleveland and I’ve worked all my life. Winning the Tony for playing the Emcee in ‘Cabaret’ was one of the best moments of my life. It’s now heading to London with Eddie Redmayne.”

About the Yiddish version of “Fiddler on the Roof” he directed?

“Was heading to Australia but then came the pandemic. It’s now scheduled for LA’s Ahmanson. This year on Zoom I produced ‘On Borrowed Time’ with Bill Irwin, Sam Waterston and Blair Brown. Coming up I’m to direct a play starring Sam Waterston.”

What’s the correct way to spell your last name — GrEy or GrAy?

“Correct way to spell my last name is K-A-T-Z.”

The park goes Green tonight

Tonight. Remember when Tavern on the Green was so popular it was shoveling in the green? Well, it’s turning chartreuse again. Tonight is a first. An opening out in the opening. Patrons, sitting outdoors, are being treated to a first-time Broadway-time stars in concert. It’s light 7:45 dinner, heavy drinks, two hours, entertainment hosted by the star of Spielberg’s “West Side Story” Ariana DeBose at 8:30 and bring your own galoshes.

BritBrit the poet

Before she began the 12-year conservatorship fight with her father, Britney Spears wrote this poem:

Magical nights filled with stars/Silence is golden, no running cars.

Private dinners, romantic fires/Little pieces of heaven, what your heart desires.

Friendly hellos and never goodbyes/When you’re having fun, the time flies.

As we sit and prepare to make our part/I thank you, Turtle Bay, with all my heart.

One Park Avenue. “Your new friend seems a bit of a loafer. What’s he do?”

Answer: “Nothing. He inherits.”

Only in New York, kids, only in New York.
