Blood pressure medication is destroying my sex life and I don't like disappointing my wife | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: THE blood pressure medication that I have been on for three years is destroying my sex life.

I am 61 and my wife is 59. We have been married for 32 years and are very happy together apart from this one thing.

I got so fed up with disappointing my wife because I can’t get an erection that I don’t even attempt sex with her now.

I don’t get any morning erections now and my penis is weak.

My wife says she isn’t bothered about the lack of sex and my health is more important, but I know she is frustrated.

Apart from this issue, I am fit and have a normal life.

Is it the medication or something psychological holding me back?
