Camilla ‘distracted’ amid important Royal Family gathering after online abuse

However, Camilla Parker Bowles has recently been struggling amid a torrent of online abuse in the wake of the latest season of The Crown. Camilla and Charles were hit by a wave of nastiness.
It saw Clarence House turn off comments under its tweets besides those it follows.
It came as the pair began to embrace using social media during lockdown.
An aide told Vanity Fair: “The Prince and Duchess were in lockdown like everyone else and couldn’t be seen in person, so they wanted to find another way to connect with people.
“They hadn’t done many social media messages before, but they quickly realised this was the way forward and a means of being visible and immediately connecting with people, which is what they always want to do.”

However, amid the reports of Camilla and Charles’ online abuse struggle the Duchess of Cornwall was “distracted” in Windsor this evening.
The royals gathered to listen to the Salvation Army Band at the Windsor Quadrangle.
A body language expert analysed the gathering, the largest royal sighting in some time.
Judi James told Express.co.uk: “It is Kate who engages in conversation with the Queen, while Charles stands on the other side of the line-up.

“All the royals here look very dutiful, with their hands clasped in front of their torsos as they wait to speak to the Queen, although Camilla appears to have been distracted and is turned away in this crucial line-up.”
Judi added: “The Queen then actively chats to the band, engaging Charles in the conversation while Camilla stands back slightly, with her rigidly-placed arms suggesting an air of tension or awkwardness.”
The most recent season of The Crown focuses on Charles’ relationship with former wife Princess Diana as well as Camilla.
Revisiting the events has refreshed unpleasant sentiments from the time.
However, the Queen certainly did not let any such matter prevent her from her duties as Monarch.
The ever professional Queen showed she is “still the undisputed head” of the Royal Family with powerful body language, which is “hugely impressive to watch.”
Judi went on: “It’s fascinating to see how the Queen is still emphatically still the undisputed head of the royal Firm, with that status looking not just titular but also physically visible, which is a remarkable feat at her age,” Judi said.
“Dressed in striking and very confident scarlet here, the Queen stands alone, with both her outfit and the space around her signaling high levels of power.
“She is also the only one of the royal line-up not succumbing to the bitter temperatures.”
The expert puts this down to the Queen’s sense of royal duty, which many younger royals have evolved away from.
She went on: “This aspect of the Queen’s powerful sense of continuity is so visible here.
“She doesn’t mirror other people or change her body language state.”
