A tricky new online quiz, which tests reaction times when two pieces of information in the brain are competing, is baffling the web.
Lenstore’s new perception game tests how quickly you can identify five matching colours, against ten mismatching ones.
Based on the Stroop Effect, it challenges you to name physical colours when they’re used to spell the name of a different one.
Researchers found that out of 2,000 UK adults, 79 per cent of respondents correctly got it right when the colour matched its spelling, while just 21 per cent scored ten out of ten for the mismatching colours.
They also discovered some unexpected factors that can affect your results, including your mood, age, and how often you exercise.
It was revealed that younger players are more likely to score full marks on the test, as well as those who exercise daily.
