Kate Middleton has had time to master her approach to royal life
Though she was dubbed “Waity Katy” since she and Prince William dated for nearly a decade before getting married, the prince gifted his wife with the chance to ease into life as a royal. The late Princess Diana and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex did not have this luxury.
“She knows the importance of the institution and her role to play,” an insider told People. “She knows that being a member of the royal family is a bit like having a contract, you sign on the dotted line and you deliver Kate is in her element right now, she’s really stuck at it and persevered with what she believes in.”

Royal fans are delighted by Kate Middleton’s unpolished look
Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge shared a never-before-seen photo of herself preparing for the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show on Instagram. Though the show was unfortunately canceled this year due to the pandemic, Kate is encouraging people to explore the great outdoors while social distancing.
“In recent years I have focussed much of my work on the early years, and how instrumental they are for outcomes later in life,” the duchess revealed last year. “I believe that spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults.”
In the photo, the duchess is wearing muddy jeans, a creased shirt, gloves, and a mussed ponytail. Fans cannot get over the duchess’ laid back look.
