A woman has revealed that she has fallen out with her sister-in-law who got her underage teenager drunk at a BBQ – and five years later, the shocked parent still doesn’t want to reconcile.

Writing into a family feud segment with Vanessa Feltz on This Morning, the UK-based mother who went by ‘Lynne’ said her child was 12-years-old when the relative ‘gave them lots of alcohol’.

To make matters worse, Lynne said that ‘for two years after the incident’, she had to change her number three times because of incessant ‘harassing’ calls from the sister-in-law and her son.

‘Five years have passed – she is now 73 and wants to see us,’ the viewer said. ‘My husband sees her, which is fine, but my child – now 17 – and I don’t want to.’

Lynne added that her family thinks she owes the sister-in-law an apology – but she insists she’s done ‘nothing wrong’ by freezin her out.

Advising the distressed parent, Vanessa said it all depends on whether she wants to repair the relationship, while Holly Willoughby stressed it’s perfectly fine not to move on.

Slamming the relative’s past actions, the radio star, 61, encouraged Lynne to ‘stick to her guns’.

‘I think the sister-in-law really behaved incredibly badly,’ she continued. ‘Harassing somebody day and night through phone calls is a revolting and disgusting way of behaving.’

Vanessa added: ‘That’s the status quo, you’re fine without her, you don’t miss her, and I don’t think you have to do it as a favour to her either. Stick to your guns.’

It comes as last week, a This Morning phone-in heard that a 70-year-old woman’s husband of 48 years ‘keeps disappearing’ to Thailand and sending ‘hundreds of pounds’ there monthly.

Speaking on a Dear Deidre segment, the anonymous caller who went by ‘Julie’ said he leaves without telling her, and is tight-lipped about where the cash is going – dismissively claiming it’s ‘none of her business’.

A shocked Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby listened on as the bizarre tale was recounted to the agony aunt.

‘It’s normally on a Wednesday night he goes,’ she revealed. ‘I just come home, there’s no note, nothing, passport, gone, clothes gone.’

Getting emotional, Julie added: ‘I’m 70 now…I just don’t know what to do…I’m thinking, how long have I got?’

Deidre strongly urged the caller not to ‘carry on putting up with this’, slamming the husband’s behaviour as ‘appalling’.

‘Of course what your husband is doing is your concern and funneling out hundreds of pounds of family income – that is terrible.’

While Julie clarified that the money isn’t taken out of a joint account, it is unclear what the pair’s financial situation is.

Phillip was disgusted at the situation, slamming what he thought was clearly infidelity.

‘He’s got someone else,’ the host said. ‘He’s going to Thailand to see someone else – male or female.’
