I thought I was going mad until I found proof my partner was using a sex line
DEAR DEIDRE: I CAUGHT my partner paying women online for sex chat.
I knew he was up to something because he closed his laptop or changed the page when I walked in the room.
It has become even more obvious since we began working at home together.
He’s 35 and I’m 31. I have confronted him, asking him why he’s so secretive, but he denies everything.
One night he had too much to drink and passed out on the bed.
I spotted his phone was unlocked and looked through it.
There was pornography downloaded which didn’t worry me too much – we look at porn together sometimes – but then I saw the same number multiple times.
I called and there was no doubting it was an adult webchat service.
He was always making out that I’m being paranoid. I’ve even been to the doctors thinking I’m losing my mind.

DEIDRE SAYS: It’s distressing to find he’s getting his sexual kicks elsewhere, even if he isn’t physically cheating.
Is your relationship otherwise strong? Or could your sex life do with some spicing up?
Rather than admitting you checked his messages, find a moment to tell him you feel the dynamics have changed between you and ask what you can do to improve things.
