Inside Chris and Rosie Ramseys family life – from unique dates to dream house

Comedy fans have loved Chris and Rosie Ramsey's raucous, warts-and-all podcast, Sh ** ged. Married. Annoyed.

Now, the couple who live in Newcastle are bringing their banter to the small screen, for a brand new TV show, The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show… and it's safe to say we can't wait!

The comics, both 35, live in a beautiful family home which they moved to because they "couldn't resist."

She told her 850,000 followers: "We have moved house. A house came up and we couldn’t resist. I wanted to move for years. I am a massive believer of fate."

The incredible home boasts an impressive kitchen, office and library, and the couple wasted no time in getting comfortable in their new home and have since shared plenty of snaps of the pad via their social media channels.

But what else do we know about the pair, aside from their sensational home? Let's take a look…

Inside Chris and Rosie Ramsey's family life

Chris and Rosie first began their famed podcast in 2019, and then went on to publish their book Sh**ged. Married, Annoyed, which became a Sunday Times bestseller.

Rosie has worked as a presenter, actor and radio host, and she previously hosted Capital Radio's drive time show in the north east.

And husband Chris is a comedian, actor and presenter who you'll have seen presenting the I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! spin-off I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp in 2016.

He's also been seen on screens as a guest presenter on The One Show and he whirled his way to fourth place on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.

Rosie and Chris have been married since 2014, and they'll celebrate eight years married in July.

The couple share two adorable children together – six year old Robin and baby Race who they welcomed in January 2021.

Talking exclusively to OK! recently, the married stars shared laughter about each other's vexing habits and minor gripes.

“We’re not always on the same page,” Rosie laughed. “But we get on and we work really well together. We like to separate work, social life, marriage and family life, but they do sometimes bleed into one another. At the end of the day, though, we’ve always said that our marriage is more important than anything.”

Chris has a rather poetic take on negotiating any tricky moments as they bring up their boys.

“You’ve just got to feel it out, says the South Shields-born star. "It’s like walking through your house in the dark. You know where everything is, but there is a chance you could stub your toe.”

The pair put a positive spin on their busy lives too during their chat, and the fact that taking the podcast on tour has been the closest they've got to socialising away from the boys.

“People ask, ‘Do you have a date night,’ and I say, ‘No, we don’t have a date night, we go and do an arena show,’” laughed Chris.

The pair post regularly on their respective social media channels, keeping their legions of fans updated with their family goings-on.

In their abode they've even made space for a games room with a large pool table where little Robin is learning to play.
