Inside Joe Swash’s birthday as Stacey Solomon pulls out all the stops and shaves legs for the occasion

It’s easy to lose track of the days in lockdown, and Stacey Solomon did just that as she admitted the pandemic led her to forget her fiancé Joe Swash’s birthday, oops!

The Loose Women presenter, 31, secretly filmed the former EastEnders actor talking about how “excited” he is for his 39th birthday before turning to the camera and flashing a look of sheer panic.

However, it seems the star turned things around big time, and gave Joe the lockdown birthday he was hoping for.

The star hilariously filmed herself with Joe, writing: “I really need him to go to sleep so I can open the Amazon parcel and see what random stuff Joes getting for his birthday tomorrow,” followed by a laughing emoji.

Joe cheekily sat in the background, clearly not planning on heading to bed any time soon, behind an impatient Stacey.

Next, Stacey shared what was inside the package, from a glittery gold ‘birthday queen’ sash, to party hats, poppers and balloons.

The mum-of-three filmed herself huffing and puffing away as she blew up Joe’s birthday balloons in preparation for his big day on 20 January.

Stacey wrote: “Blew up some balloons. There was a banner in with the balloons thank G-d [laughing emoji] so I put that up.”

Stacey also made some boxes with fish sweets in too and she ate them while trying on one of the birthday hats.

The star, who recently shared her £1 mirror hack, created a fish-themed birthday with the sweets and Rex’s fishing set, and she made the space look party ready with confetti-filled balloons and a banner.

However, despite her efforts, Stacey penned on the final snap: “He’s going to kill me.”

And as Joe woke up for his big day with baby Rex in the bed too, he was treated to orange juice and eggs on toast on a silver platter.

Stacey also got a snap of adorable little Rex playing with the decorations and Joe looked over the moon as he opened his card and wore the sash.

Another present laid on by the star were her shaved legs! Yes the 31 year old took a video while shaving her legs and she even tied a red ribbon around one leg as an extra birthday treat.

“He love the sash and my smooth legs. Him and Rex have been fishing in the duck pool for hours. It all worked out in the end,” penned the star.

And to top things off, Joe was treated to a sensational birthday cake with chocolate treats on top, which Stacey managed to find last minute from a little business in Essex named Robyns Nest Writtle.

Stacy wrote: “I found a little business in Essex who makes the most beautiful cakes and she was able to make this masterpiece in less than 24 hours.”

Well done to Stacey, it looks like she well and truly pulled it out of the bag!
