Inside Meghan and Harry’s Californian paradise garden with adventure playground and chicken coop
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved into their impressive £11 million mansion in the summer of 2020.
While they may have left their royal household behind in the UK, they've found a pretty nice abode across the ocean.
The new place in California's Montecito is as beautiful as you'd expect, with a garden that is particularly amazing.
Meghan, 40, who is mum to one year old daughter Lilibet and three year old Archie, made an appearance on YouTube to read her children's book, The Bench, from her sprawling garden.
The Duchess of Sussex swept her hair back into a bun with a side parting for the filming opportunity, which was posted on Brightly Storytime's YouTube channel, run by her book's publishers Penguin Random House.

Taking a closer look at the surroundings, Meghan looked relaxed as she sat on a wooden rocking chair in her garden which was draped with a white textured blanket.
A huge terracotta pot has been filled with a gorgeous shrub while an assortment of wild flowers can be seen in the background.
We can also see a miniature box hedge framing the borders along with leafy trees to create a private space for the couple.
Meanwhile the green space includes an envy-inducing children's playground and a chicken coop, so naturally they've chosen the location for some of their photo shoots. They even let Oprah Winfrey's camera crew film in there for a segment of their bombshell interview.
Oprah got an exclusive invite to the chicken coop, which is adorably named 'Archie's Chick Inn'.
The chickens that live there were given a second chance when they were rescued from a local factory farm.
While pictures of the play area have not been released by the couple, the real estate listing gave an insight into what it is like.
Archie and Lilibet are lucky to have playhouses, slides, a climbing frame, a tightrope, a helter skelter, and climbing walls. Actual kid heaven!
We did get a little preview of one playhouse, when Meghan and Harry released a sketch of themselves in front of it for Christmas 2020.
Meghan and Harry also shared a video from a bench in their garden. Either side were trees, flowers and well-maintained grass.
It's clear why the couple have previously referred to their home as a "sanctuary." The real world likely feels miles away while relaxing on the grounds.
It’s believed that Prince Harry also has forget-me-not flowers planted to honour his mother, Princess Diana.
While the outdoor space also features endless lawn space with rose gardens, a tennis court, a guest cottage and a large outdoor pool. There is also a vegetable patch, where the eco-friendly family source ingredients from for their meals.
The main house includes a library, an office, a spa with a separate dry and wet sauna, a gym, a games room, an arcade, a movie theatre, a wine cellar and a garage with space for five cars.
