Now, the Irish star has just launched her second edit with Ann Summers, called 12 days of Maura.

With stunning items including lace chemises and bold bralettes, there’s plenty of gorgeous nightwear and lingerie sets for everyone. The garments come in a range of sizes, from 8 to 24 and with bras in 30A to 44G.

We caught up with Maura to talk about everything from body empowerment to her role models…

Huge congratulations on your second edit with Ann Summers. What is it about Ann Summers that made you want to work with them?

I’ve always worn Ann Summers even before the villa so I’ve always been a fan. They’re so amazing to work with and I just love that they are such a supportive community of women. Whenever I’m wearing Ann Summers, it just makes me feel so sexy and empowered.

You look amazing in your latest Ann Summers shoot. Are you a natural in-front of the camera or did It take some getting used to?

I think I’ve always been quite confident in front of the camera although it’s different when you’re walking around in lingerie all day! The team has always made me feel so comfortable on shoots and when I’m in front of the camera, so I think that’s definitely helped me throughout the years. A lot of my job revolves around being in front of the camera.

Has working and modelling for Ann Summers made you more body confident over the years?

Oh definitely! The fact that the brand is so focused on being so inclusive and empowering is one of the main reasons as to why I love working with them. I think as I’ve got older and being in front of the camera so much it's made me learn to love my body and Ann Summers always makes me feel sexy.

What advice would you give to someone who’s not feeling body confident?

I think no matter what, it's so important to embrace your body and feel comfortable in your own skin, the best advice I could say is ignore anyone else who could tell you otherwise! Even when you’re having a bad day and not feeling too confident it’s so important to remember that you’re so much more than that.

We love that Ann Summers focuses on inclusivity, why was it important for you to keep your collection inclusive?

I think with how influential social media is nowadays and how effective it is in regards to body image and what people perceive as how your body ‘should look,’ it was definitely important to me to make sure my collection was inclusive of any size and shape. I wanted to be able to show that anyone can wear this collection.

What kind of lingerie styles do you usually go for? Does your style differ from day to day wear to dressing up?

I would say it probably does differ from just casually in the day to when I am going out and depending on what I’m wearing. I do like to feel sexier when I’m going out for the night so I would definitely go for something more sexy to wear if I was going out as if I’m making an effort with my outfit then why can’t I with my lingerie!

What kind of lingerie gives you confidence?

It’s definitely got to be something that I feel that flatters me and makes me feel comfortable but still sexy.

It’s been 2 years since you left the villa, how do you think your style has evolved since then?

I think I’ve really found my own personal style, I definitely know what I like now, what suits me and what I want to wear. I love going to events and being able to dress up and experiment with amazing clothes. I’m definitely more confident in what I like to wear now.

We love your sense style, have you always been passionate about fashion?

Yes, I’ve always been into fashion ever since I was young. I’m so lucky that I am able to have the freedom to experiment with clothes and styles. I love putting different outfits together for big events.

Who do you consider to be your role model and why?

I love a smart, confident, empowering woman they’re always inspiring me to be strong. I have to say I love Kendall Jenner for style inspiration too – I think she’s so effortless and cool.

You’ve achieved so much at such a young age but what are your future ambitions?

There’s so many things that I still want to do! A few of which are currently in the pipeline and I’m so excited about, I can’t wait for the next few years in my career and see what the future holds!
