Mrs Hinch has revealed she’s been suffering from post-baby hair thinning, but she’s found a way to cover it up instantly.

In an Instagram story many new mums will relate to, Sophie Hinchliffe, 30, says her hairline had become finer after giving birth to her one-year-old son Ronnie.

“I used to get a little bit paranoid about my sparse patches and they got worse after Ron,” she says.

Luckily she’s found a clever way to hide them – Color Wow Root Cover Up in Medium Brown, £28.50 here, a touch-up powder that can be used to cover up roots, or fill in thin patches of hair.

“I bought this about six weeks ago because my hairline is quite sparse,” Sophie explains

“When I put my hair up I've got patches that I’m not too keen on because then I can see my extensions,” she adds.

Wearing her hair in a half updo, the star colours in the patches around her hairline in seconds – and the results are quite impressive.

“I’m literally obsessed,” Sophie says, “it makes so much difference.”

“Hoping it doesn’t run down my face when it rains tho,” she jokes.

Sophie is often sponsored on Instagram to talk about products, but the star assures fans in the video that “this isn’t an ad in any way.”

“I just wanted to share because if it helps anyone like it’s helped me, then… amazing.”

Mrs Hinch isn’t the first celebrity to rave about Color Wow Root Cover Up.

Last year, TOWIE star Chloe Sims revealed she’d been covering up her “bald patches” with the exact same product in a hair tutorial posted to her Instagram.

Chloe explained to fans “where I’ve got tapes in and they’re pulled up, it leaves a bald-looking patch.”

Like Mrs Hinch, Chloe uses the formula to make her hairline look as dark and full as the rest of her hair – especially when her hair is scraped back into an updo.

The TOWIE star joked, “I’m pretty sure this is what the Kardashians do when they wear their hair up.”

And she might not be wrong, as celebrity hair stylist and Color Wow ambassador Chris Appleton revealed in a YouTube video two years ago that he “uses this product on 99 per cent of his clients.”

Chris is responsible for creating iconic hair looks for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa, and Kim Kardashian herself.

If it’s good enough for A-listers, it’s good enough for us.

Thanks for the tip Mrs Hinch.
