Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is “so proud” of herself after she has totally transformed her youngest son Rex’s bedroom.

The 31 year old, who recently described that she was “moody” following a DIY mishap, unveiled the finished bedroom for one year old Rex, who she shares with fiancé Joe Swash, 39, on Friday.

Mum of three Stacey, who has been renovating Pickle Cottage with her amazing “tap to tidy” project, shared a collection of snaps of the finished room to her 4.4million Instagram fans.

However, her youngest Rex, who she shares with fiancé Joe Swash, 39, and nine year old son Leighton, from a previous relationship, could not stop laughing at the “panda bums” on the wall.

The red-headed beauty remedied the DIY mishap by painting a grey balloon above the pandas before adding a sticker, printed by her sister Gemma, also known as The Label Lady, to complete it.

Stacey applied the gorgeous italic grey stickers beneath the pandas which read: “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.”

“Aw boys I hope you hold onto each other forever and ever no matter what happens. To have each other is the greatest gift of all,” Stacey wrote.

The Tap to Tidy author revealed how she was “crying” at the heart-warming wall adding: “Not me sitting here and getting emotional over a wall.”

Stacey shared a collection of pictures of the completed room to her Instagram, captioned: “Rex’s Room. – Done.

“FINALLY… I’m so proud of this little room. I hope you make so many memories and happy thoughts in here pickle. You and all of your favourite pandas

“Rex and me have worked so hard in here to try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it!

“It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already… I love it so, so much and I cannot wait to watch you grow up in here little one, just not too quickly please.”

Stacey has opted for a gorgeous neutral colour palette of grey, white and oak features for Rex to grow up with.

The craft enthusiast, who recently ripped up the carpet in Rex's bedroom before sanding the floorboards, has added a huge diamond pattern rug to the centre of the bedroom for her little boy to play with his toys.

Former X Factor star Stacey has added an adorable craft corner for Rex complete with a gorgeous grey chalkboard and labelled storage space for his toys, including "trains", "dinosaurs" and "vegetables" with a roll of drawing paper for him to doodle on.

Stacey has made the most of the large walls by creating a stunning feature using tape and different shades of grey paint before adding animal stickers to fit the animal theme.

Little Rex looked over-the-moon with the finished bedroom as he laughed on his comfy single bed decked with crisp white sheets which feature a cute animal print.

The traditional fireplace, which Stacey hand-painted in a stunning “tap to tidy”, complements the room perfectly and features zebra wall heads and prints reading “little explorer” for a sweet touch.
