The Unsettling Reason Why Prince Harry’s Friends Dislike Meghan Markle
By all outside appearances, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a fairytale romance. The couple may seem to come from two very different worlds, but together they look deliciously in love. Is it all rainbows and butterflies, or is it all for show?
If recent reports are true, Prince Harry might be in some hot water with his friends. Some have stated that long-time friends of the Prince actually dislike Meghan Markle.
This is all coming to light after the release of the CBS special, Meghan and Harry Plus One. In the show, some of Markle’s friends dropped the bombshell. Here is what we know about the unsettling reason why Prince Harry’s friends dislike Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry before Meghan Markle
Before we get into why his friends do not like her, it is important to know what he was like before they ever met. Prince Harry was a good guy, but he was also troubled. Losing his mother at a young age was hard enough, let alone the near constant reminder of his loss through the media.
He was incredibly close to his mom, the late Princess Diana. And, he is a lot like her. They both didn’t like being the center of attention and neither one liked being followed around by guards and paparazzi.
He spent about two decades avoiding his feelings, and that led to some really bad choices. Almost all of his misbehavior happened while he was with his friends.
He was with his longtime buddies when photos were leaked to the press of him stripping in Vegas, the time he dressed up as a Nazi, and the time he got caught cheating at school. His father, Prince Charles, even sent him to rehab, but only for one day. What’s so different about him now, that his friends dislike Meghan Markle?
Finding love can change a person
Prince Harry is certainly not the first man in history to change after getting married, and that is exactly what happened. The truth is that marriage alone has a way of changing people. It is in the decision to spend the rest of your life with another person that changes your outlook on just about everything.
In this case, he fell in love with someone that does things very differently than he is used to. Meghan Markle does not believe in keeping feelings buried; she believes in getting therapy. Meghan Markle is also a big proponent in self-care, which is why she gets up so early every day. She practices yoga and believes in naturopathy to stay healthy.
Now that Prince Harry has taken up much of these habits, he is a lot less self-destructive. To make matters even more worthy of his good choices is the fact that he is a father. Now he has a son that will be watching his every move, which is way may important than the public’s watchful eye.

According to Insider, when it comes right down to it, the reason Prince Harry’s friends dislike Meghan Markle is unsettling. They do not like that he is done partying. For a long time, they got to party with royalty, and that had to come with a lot of fun and perks.
Now that Prince Harry has settled down, they don’t see him as often, and when they do, it is probably not nearly as much fun. He is no longer a bachelor. His life has finally started, and he is coming to terms with his grief.
His old friends might be wishing for the good-old-days, but if you ask us, they might want to get started on their own lives and find their own happiness.
