Arsenal to step up Ruben Neves transfer move and join Man Utd in battle for Wolves midfielder this summer | The Sun

ARSENAL are set to target Wolves ace Ruben Neves this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield ahead of next season.

Neves, 25, is a player that they have admired for a long time as he has impressed at Molineux.

According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal will "surely" make a move for the Portuguese international.

Speaking to Wettfreunde, Di Marzio adds that a deal could hinge on the Gunners' budget.

Mikel Arteta's transfer kitty has been wounded by Arsenal's failure to secure a place in the top four.

The Gunners' lack of Champions League football could also put Neves off joining.

It's claimed that if he is to leave Molineux, it may only be to a team that is playing in Europe's top competition.

Manchester United are also interested in Neves.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is aiming to bolster his squad this summer.
