Entire Premier League 2020/21 season simulated on FIFA 21… and it's bad news for Man Utd and Arsenal

THE new Premier League season has been simulated on FIFA 21 – but it's not good news for Manchester United and Arsenal fans.

Both clubs miss out on the top four and Champions League places – United finish in fifth with the Gunners in sixth.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mikel Arteta are both making great strides this summer in reshaping their squads.

Liverpool win the title again on 90 points, but this time only three ahead of second-placed Manchester City.

In real life, Jurgen Klopp's side sauntered to the 2019/20 title, finishing on 99 points 18 ahead of City.

Tottenham bag third spot on the simulated season, four points behind City on 83.

Chelsea fans might have been expecting a team including Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell to have finished higher than fourth, however.

At the other end of the table, it's grim reading for Aston Villa.

They finish bottom, nine points from safety. It's unclear whether the side included Jack Grealish, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Joining them for Championship football is surprisingly Sheffield United and West Brom.

The Blades finished ninth last season with Chris Wilder's side playing some lovely football at time.

Albion, of course, finished second in the Championship.

Fulham and Leeds both survive their first season back in the top flight – the Cottagers in 14th and Marcelo Bielsa's boys in 12th respectively.
