He ran his best race for a long time when a close second at Carlisle 29 days ago. He was flying at the finish and this longer trip will be ideal. Trainer Nicky Richards is in good form.

LES’S LEGACY (2.15 Kelso, nb)

He should have no issue tackling an extra quarter-mile after a good win here latest. A 4lb rise is fair and he likes some cut in the ground. He’s well up to scoring again.

BEAUTIFUL CROWN (5.55 Windsor, treble)

He was just pipped at Chelmsford when charging home over the mile. This stiffer test should be perfect for him.
