I'm an ex-World Cup winner and Arsenal target with £56m in career earnings – now I'm focused on my new start-up at 29 | The Sun
GERMANY midfielder Julian Draxler is already preparing for life after football.
The 29-year-old recently became an investor in Coachwhisperer – a sports tech start-up.
Confirming his new career move on LinkedIn, he wrote: "When I heard the founding team of Coachwhisperer at the Founders League, I was immediately convinced – first and foremost of them as a team.
"And the product can also do a lot: Philipp Zacher, Julien Pascal Then and Hendrik Thiedke have developed the world's first live communication system for coaches and athletes."
Coachwhisperer has developed a unique sports vest with an integrated speaker and app that coaches can use to communicate live with their players in training.
The company, founded in 2021, is also developing an earpiece that measures a player's heart rate and oxygen saturation.

Draxler added: "As an active professional footballer, I can very well imagine such an integration into everyday training, the live communication saves valuable training time and immediately optimises learning processes on the pitch."
While the former Wolfsburg star is thriving off the pitch, his football career has fallen flat.
He has reportedly been placed on Paris Saint-Germain's transfer list after falling out of favour at the club.
Draxler spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Benfica, but he was limited to just 18 appearances across all competitions due to a series of injury issues.
