I've scored 17 more non-penalty goals than Haaland this season and am smashing English records for fun | The Sun
NOTTS COUNTY hitman Macauley Langstaff has set the National League alight this season with 40 goals in 40 games.
He has scored in 27 league games this season and set a new County record with his controversial goal against Altrincham on Tuesday.
Langstaff found the net following a quickly taken free-kick that caught the opposition off guard.
In doing so he broke the record for the most goals scored for Notts in a single campaign – breaking a 92-year record held by Tom Keetley.
Remarkably, the striker is still yet to score a SINGLE penalty this season.
That means he has 17 more non-penalty league goals than Manchester City star Erling Haaland, though he still has less than leading non-league marksman Brett Pitman.

Haaland has 42 goals in all competitions, and five of his 28 league goals have come from the penalty spot.
Former Portsmouth striker Pitman has 47 goals in 39 games this season for AFC Portchester, in the ninth tier of English football.
Langstaff now needs one more goal to set a new record for most National League goals scored in a season – he is currently tied with former Dover forward Ricky Miller.
The 26-year-old described breaking the County record as a "special feeling" after Tuesday's 2-0 win.
