Darts fans were left in hysterics on Monday night after Wayne Mardle referenced Ted Hankey's infamous 'talking to the devil' clip midway through the PDC World Darts Championship final.
Sky Sports commentator Mardle made the quip in the opening leg of the fifth set between Peter Wright and Michael Smith.
With Snakebite needing 25 to win the leg, Mardle said: "Can he take out the devil's finish? This is devilish. Who's in charge? He is!"
To the uninitiated, Hawaii 501's commentary probably didn't make much sense, yet it left darts fans watching on TV in hysterics.
Bizarre though it might have seemed, Mardle's words were actually a hilarious reference to an old clip of Ted Hankey that has been doing the rounds on social media.
In the clip, Hankey needs 25 to win the leg during a match against John Walton.
Hankey, otherwise known as The Count, steps up to throw before pausing and talking to himself.
He says: "Do I fancy double 12 or double eight? Who's in charge, me or the devil?"
Who's in charge today, you or the devil? Let us know in the comments section.

The two-time world champ then returns to the oche and continues: "I think I'm in charge. Fat nine, double eight, shake his hand. Just like that.
"Come on you c***, f******, you c***."
Hankey then proceeds to miss the double eight before turning to the camera with his arms outstretched while the commentators giggle to themselves.
Darts fans couldn't believe it when Mardle imitated The Count's bizarre outburst during the world championship final and took to social media to share their love for the former Essex slinger.
One person said: "Wayne Mardle referencing the Ted Hankey video is the greatest moment of this year's PDC and I won't hear otherwise."
Someone else added: "Hahahahahahahaha Mardle’s seen the Hankey video."
A third person commented: "Mardle dropping the Hankey reference this games got it all."
While another user chimed in with: "Mardle referencing the Hankey video and Wright taking fat 9 double 8 – all the stars bringing their A game."
One fan even called for Mardle, a five-time Ally Pally semi-finalist, to be awarded an honorary world championship.
But as it stands, it looks like he'll just have to settle for the adoration of darts fans on Twitter, which should do for now.
